GPHA AND PATERSON SIMONS STAFF UNDERTAKE KONECRANES LIFTTRUCKS EXTENSIVE SERVICE & TECHNICAL TRAINING ON THE LATEST KONECRANES C-SERIES REACH STACKERS, IN SWEDEN

Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) and Paterson Simons staff attended Konecranes Lift trucks extensive service and technical training on the latest Konecranes C-series reach stackers, in Sweden.

This comprehensive training covered safety protocols, operational procedures, emergency measures, product identification, environmental impact, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, fluid and coolant management, drive line maintenance, and error code troubleshooting.

In addition to the classroom training, the teams were taken on a detailed factory tour where they got hands-on exposure to the Konecranes production process. This included a close-up look at how components are assembled, quality assurance procedures, and discussions with engineers and production staff.

The tour provided valuable insights into the real-world application of the technical knowledge gained during the training. The teams also received hands-on time with the Konecranes C-series Reach stackers. This allowed the team to apply their training knowledge, ensuring they left with practical experience and a thorough understanding of the machines’ operation and maintenance.

The group included both GPHA and Pasico Ghana members. The training was highly engaging, offering valuable insights into the latest developments in technology and enhancing the expertise of all participants.

Thank you to Konecranes & the GPHA team and to all those involved who made this a very successful training session for this training group!
