Utilising this remote system, we can connect from our laptops using IQANrun software, typically employed for updating machine programs, whether from our office in the UK or elsewhere. This connection is established through the 4G TruConnect modem installed in the Liftrucks, using a SIM card registered to the local operator’s service. The strength of the 4G mobile signal at the terminal is crucial for maintaining a stable remote connection. While 3G service may suffice for certain remote access tasks, a robust 4G signal is imperative for upgrading the entire machine software.
This cutting-edge technology not only enables seamless communication with the Master Display unit (MD4) in Konecranes Lifttrucks machines but also empowers us to conduct remote updates and troubleshooting from any location.
