PATERSON SIMONS COMPLETES FOGMAKER FIRE SUPPRESSION INSTALLATION ON GROVE ALL-TERRAIN CRANES AT MOBICRANE
Paterson Simons has successfully completed the installation of advanced Fogmaker fire suppression systems on four Grove all-terrain cranes at Mobicrane Ghana Ltd, further strengthening fire protection and operational safety across the fleet.
Comprehensive installation and technical knowledge transfer
The project involved the installation of Fogmaker fire suppression systems on the following Grove cranes:
- Grove GMK4100L
- Grove GMK5200L
- Grove GMK6300L
- Grove GMK6400
The project also included practical, hands-on technical training for Paterson Simons technicians, strengthening the team’s expertise and further enhancing its capability to carry out future Fogmaker installations and provide ongoing customer support.
High-pressure water mist fire suppression
Fogmaker’s innovative fire suppression system uses high-pressure water mist to rapidly suppress fires, cool engine compartments and reduce the risk of reignition. The fine water mist reaches areas that may be difficult to access with conventional systems, helping to protect critical components while using only a minimal amount of water. The system is designed to activate quickly, reducing fire-related damage, minimising equipment downtime and enhancing operator safety.
